Go on a festive journey through the neighborhood with attractions ranging from a holiday market filled with unique gifts and treats to captivating photo ops with the beloved Olde World Santa. Thrill the kids (and those young at heart) with enchanting holiday hayrides, or select the perfect wreath and Christmas tree from our outdoor tree lot, ensuring your home mirrors the holiday spirit enveloping the community.
What to Expect
This seasonal celebration not only showcases the charming local merchants from the 1200 – 1900 blocks but also warms you up with hot adult beverages and delicious hot chocolate and cider for the children. The South Pearl Street Winterfest is designed to weave together the fabric of our community, offering an array of activities that cater to everyone and fostering a heartfelt connection among neighbors, shoppers, and local business owners. When and Where
The festivities kick off on Friday, December 6th, with an enchanting tree lighting ceremony at Platt Park at 5:15 PM, setting the stage for the magical weekend ahead. The vibrant parade from Platt Park to Winterfest officially commences at 5:45 PM, leading into the lighting of the Menorah at Florida & Pearl at 5:55 PM. By 6:00 PM, Winterfest is in full swing, offering holiday hayrides and heartwarming visits with Olde World Santa all night long. This evening of lights, laughter, and community sets the perfect tone for the entire Winterfest experience.
Come Saturday, December 7th, from 11 AM to 4 PM; the festivities continue with all-day attractions, including more holiday hayrides and Olde World Santa. The music program features performances by the Denver Dolls from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, the Denver Gents from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, and Lee & Company from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, providing a melodious backdrop to your holiday shopping and enjoyment.
